McGowens is back for the Hurricanes again this season. Raina averaged 15.7 ppg, 5.8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3.3 steals last season for the Hurricanes (20-6) last year. She starts her 5th year on varsity with 1,064 points. Raina has a smooth game from the backcourt where she plays both positions on the off the ball.
Highlights
Randolph didn’t play on the Grassroots Circuit this past spring or summer. Olivia helped the Rams win back-to-back Class 4A State Championships this past season with a (28-0) record. The Lady Rams have won 38 games in a row dating back to January 22, 2021. Olivia is a rim protector down in the paint with her long wingspan and ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end. Olivia averaged 7.6 ppg and 9 rebounds last season while swatting away 2.3 blocks per game.
Deyana is a great option behind Raina McGowens Raina McGowens 5’10” | CG Wren | 2024 State SC and Riley Stack Riley Stack 6’5″ | SF Wren | 2023 State SC on this Hurricanes roster. Hayes tends to play very active on both sides of the floor and always seems to be in the right place to make a play. Deyana can run the floor well and carve out position down low. She averaged 6.9 ppg and 8 rebounds last season.
Scott helped the Rams win another Class 4A State Championship for the 2nd straight season. Ahri can stretch the defense with her ability to knockdown shots on the perimeter. She made 44 three pointers from downtown last season. Scott averaged 10.8 ppg last season.

Kiarra Gregory
Gregory is back for the Lady Bulldogs in the backcourt. Kiki and the Lady Bulldogs finished (15-10) last season. She does a good job of keeping the ball low to the ground and rarely turns it over. Can the Lady Bulldogs make some noise in Class 3A?
Wynn has been hampered by injuries for the Yellow Jackets. Tamerah only played the first half of the season last season after coming down with an ACL injury. She averaged 6.8 ppg and 4.9 rebounds before going down with an injury.
Clinkscales is just a freshman for the Yellow Jackets. Monasia averaged 5.7 ppg last season as an 8th grader. She can get the ball into the gaps and paint before dishing off to an open teammate. Clinkscales plays the game with a fearless mindset and maturity level already for such a young age.
Ellison plays at a small school here in Anderson County. She brings a good work ethic and determination to the floor. Look for her numbers to climb this season as she continues to progress with her play.

Khalia Hartwell Khalia Hartwell 6'5" | C Westside | 2027 State SC and Harmoni Earl Harmoni Earl 5'10" | SF T.L. Hanna | 2027 State SC could be a few names to be following down the road for T.L. Hanna. Both of these players are currently in the 2027 Palmetto State Class.
