Lauren Bennett (St Louis Cobras ANM): A 6’0″ 2023 post player from Lift for Life who has good fundamentals and a variety of moves in the paint. She gets excellent position and she catches the ball well in traffic. Her footwork is good and she finishes well around the basket. She also has very good patience inside when she catches the ball.
Lucy Elfrink (Blackout): A 6’1″ 2024 forward from Hickman who was very effective inside with her height and mobility. Her footwork in the paint was good and she displayed a very nice up and under move inside to get buckets. She is also a good interior passer who can also handle the ball well. She was fully capable of grabbing the rebound and taking off on the fast break on a coast to coast foray.
Laniya Starks (St Louis Cobras ANM): A 6’0″ 2024 forward from Lift for Life who plays a good power game inside, but she can mix in a little finesse with her footwork. She was using her size and strength to control the boards at both ends of the court. She was also blocking and altering shots in the paint. She also displayed some pretty nifty post moves which resulted in buckets with both hands.
Mara Jensen (E Sparkz): A 5’11” 2023 forward from Van-Far who impressed me with her passing ability from the high post. She can also find open teammates out of a double team very well. She also did a good job of moving people around inside with her physical strength and positioning. She also did a good job of hitting her free throws very well.
Jade Anderson (E Sparkz): A 5’10” 2024 from Capital City who is a good athlete who plays the game with plenty of energy. She is a good rebounder who displays good bounce inside with her quick second and third jump. She also runs the court very well and will get transition buckets.
Breanna Dohleman ( Southeast Dynasty ): A 6’2″ 2024 forward from East Carter who did an effective job using her size in the low post. She has good fundamentals inside and she will keep the ball high when she catches the ball to finish.
