I can't emphasize the importance of DESIRE and when I see players who BATTLE for everything, I just want to hashtag this #THROWBACK over and over because one more time, this game is much different from when started watching and I get off to the simple things, the fundamentals and the "you won't outwork me" mentality so call e a dinosaur or whatever, it's fine, just say it from afar and here are some players that JUST DID IT for me on this platform

Cpeeritt Plummer-5'10 PF ( Pflugervile) Austin Elite RFW |2023|

Plummer has battled back from injuries to show the dominance I caught years ago and when you factor in her strength as well as her powerful finishes around the basket, she's back. She also rebounded strongly and ran the floor, on both ends

Zykeia Hunt-5'10 C (Estacado) HUB City Warriors |2023|

Hunt has the right last name because she was definitely "on the HUNT" for whatever came off the rim. She went after everything and did a good job of not only finishing on putbacks but getting the outlet going and running the floor

India Jackson-5'10 PF (Fort Bend Austin) I.J.U. 17U |2023|

Jackson has a video on her Twitter page captioned "they gon see" and if you don't know who she is before I can write Tobi Admeuwagun's last name, I'll say upfront I told you so, again. I was more impressed by her support of her teammates than her relentlessness in the paint. Okay, I'm stretching it but her sheer overpowering of opponents and stretching the defense with the jumper...

Brianna Bowden-6'3 PF (Allen) Platinum BIQ Walker/Alexander |2023|
Bowden has both size and frame for the next level and I guess the "hands and footwork" would be the icing on the cake because she does that very well to finish with both hands. If that's the icing, her rebounding on both ends are the candles yet that drop step keeps the candles lit

[player_tooltip player_id='331930' first='Erin' last='Love']-5'11 PF ( Bellaire) Houston Dream |2023|

Love is fierce on the interior and she stays active around the paint as she understands how to defend but she also understands positioning which enables her to rebound against taller players. She has good body control on her finishes, this includes after contact but she also has good timing to block shots

Sarah Scott- 6'0 C (Grand Oaks) Texas Flight Elite |2023|

Scott just went all out battling for everything and I was even more impressed after she came back after being elbowed in the nose to bring even more heat. Her frame is next-level ready, and so is her strength and power which showed on her finishes strongly on putbacks as well as around the rim, after contact

[player_tooltip player_id='468911' first='Aniya' last='Joseph']-6'0 SF (Harlan) Team Fusion Elect |2024|

Joseph is from New Mexico as she had me scratching my head on how I missed her but she put on a mini show here before going completely off at the Texas Finale, more on her again next event. She finishes with either hand, she drops the midrange yet her physique is definitely next-level ready. She plays the passing lane and can handle the ball in the open court

Cloie Jansky-6'0 PF (Magnolia West) Houston United Chuck |2024|

Jansky scored multiple times using a variety of moves in the paint yet her hands and footwork were very nice, and so was her finishing shot with players literally hanging on her, yes she's that strong. Throw in her rebounding on both ends, plus her upside is nice

Angela Carroll- 6'1 PF Waco Lavega) Waco United 16U |2025|

Carroll has me wanting to sing a, well Carol yet I'll wait as she continues to rise among the charts. I love how she reacts and does things instinctively around the basket, I usually reserve that combination for guards yet she is very deliberate. Her scoring, back to the basket and facing it, have shot up, and so has her timing. She also rebounds and runs the floor
