This camp featured a lot of good under the radar players from Missouri as well as some good prospects from Wisconsin and Iowa. Here is a look a few New Names of prospects that caught my eye at the camp.
Megan Illingsworth (Francis Howell): A 6’1″ 2023 forward who had an impressive showing with her combination of size and mobility. She used her length effectively on the defensive end as she blocked shots with her excellent timing. She had a good post up game and a nice shooting touch around the basket with both hands. She also ran the court very well.
Adriana Benassi (Lee’s Summit): A 2024 wing from the Kansas City area who displayed a great motor throughout the entire time I watched her play. She played with excellent activity as she was constantly hustling for loose balls and getting on the floor at every opportunity. The young lefty attacks the basket well and she can knock down the open 3-pointer.
Malia Rodgers (Montgomery County): a 2024 guard from Mid-Missouri who displayed a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. She had a quick release on her shot. She was also an active defender who displayed some quick hands as she got some deflections and created some steals.
Macie Vinson (Ladue): A 6’0″ 2025 forward from Ladue who plays a good power game around the basket with her height and physical strength. She was very good at establishing her position in the post and moving people around when she asserts herself inside. She is a solid rebounder who plays with a lot of effort.
