One of a couple of Frankenmuth players that distinguished themselves today, Mia had my favorite play of the camp. She came on help in transition and swatted a shot, from behind, into the stands. I have watched Mia several times in high school and have always come away in awe of her scoring ability, but she showed me a different component to her game: terrorizing defender. She terrorized ball handlers and played the passing lanes to perfection. She showed me how much of a two way player she can be.

Bucket. I should just leave it at that, but I am expected to be descriptive. So, she is a three level scorer that has the softest touch. She excelled as a high post and as a wing. She drove and made the right decision off the bounce: when to shoot, drive, pass. She was very efficient from deep, but the mid range seemed to be her strength. She makes nice use of side hops to create space. Her passing was also top notch, as she connected on double digit assists.

The Northern Michigan product played fearless basketball and drew attention with relentless energy. My favorite part of her game is that she understands angles and lanes; her ability to cut to open spots is a lost art. She also excelled as a rebounder and has the knack for rebounding out of her space. I love seeing kids that get the game and have a love for fundamentals, as noted by playing spot on positional team defense.
Morgan White Morgan White 5'9" | SF New Prairie | 2024 State IN | New Prairie | 2024
The Indiana product made the most of her trip to Saginaw. She has an incredibly low dribble on her crossover and is extremely shifty. She split multiple double teams and used her pull back to create angles. She has a strong body that bullied her way to paint. Her patience allowed her to make the right reads and allowed her to showcase her midrange shot. She had a pullup in transition that had my jaw hanging. She did not shoot a ton of outside shots while I watched, but she showed enough efficiency to lead me to believe that it is a part of her game but unneeded on that day.
