The organization, which currently includes eight members of the Class of 2024 and one member of the Class of 2026, is dedicated to a Culture built on Family, Loyalty, and always playing for each member of the team. This group consistently plays as a team at both ends of the floor with each player realizing that success comes more often when playing together, as opposed to being selfish and trying to force plays when they aren’t there. Below are three of the core members of the Sun Badgers who have impressed on numerous occasions with their abilities on the court:
2024 Hannah Laub Hannah Laub 5'11" | CG Waubonsie Valley | 2024 State IL is a versatile athlete who can excel on the perimeter with her jump shot and playmaking abilities and in the lane with her post moves and strong finishing skills. Hannah can also defend any position with her length and athleticism.
2024 Ana Gerstung is a well-rounded Combo Guard who constantly makes plays with the ball in her hands. She is a strong ball-handler who makes accurate passes regularly and loves to play tough on-ball defense against opposing Point Guards.
2024 Molli Ward Molli Ward 5'10" | SG Carmel Catholic | 2024 IL is a high effort player who makes a living in the lane with her rebounding and strong finishes at the basket. She is a very intelligent athlete who understands how to win position on the block and has a variety of moves to create open looks for herself at the rim.
Other members of the Sun Badgers squad who have shown significant skill and possess the ability to play basketball at the next level include:
2024 Symone Harrell had a great Summer of AAU ball, showcasing her ability to make plays all over the court. She is a high-IQ athlete who constantly finds openings on offense so that her teammates can get her the ball for high percentage looks at the hoop.
2024 Isabella Robinson returned from an injury this Summer and immediately stated her claim as a high-level shooter from beyond the three-point line. She plays tough at both ends of the court and gives her team energy any time she’s on the floor.
2024 Jadaya Branch is a talented Point Guard who can fill up the stat sheet with her ability to set teammates up for easy points and score from all levels herself. She uses her quick feet on the defensive end to keep opposing ball-handlers from attacking the basket and regularly communicates with her team.
2024 Sarah Constantine is an athletic Shooting Guard with great confidence and length to shoot over defenders. She’s extremely accurate from beyond the three-point line and isn’t afraid to attack off the bounce and challenge opponents in the lane.
2024 Helen Macey is a smooth post player who finds success in the lane with her impressive footwork and ball skills. She is constantly fighting for rebounds at both ends of the court and finishes strong through contact at the basket.
2026 Frankie McLain is a crafty Combo Guard who provides a boost of energy at both ends of the court with her effort and high motor. She anticipates the offenses moves and can turn steals into easy fast break points with her speed and strong finishes at the rim.
