Please check my schedule for the INDIVIDUAL SHOWCASES I will be covering
2027
Jaylen Cauthron Jaylen Cauthron 5'9" | CG Idabel | 2027 OK -5’6 PH (OK PWP 2027)
Cauthron might rhyme with caution as in “you better ready to defend” because she creates her shot nicely under pressure and can drop the mid to long-range with ease. Throw in that she can attack with either hand, finish with either hand and she sees the floor
Kiana Littlebear-5’2 PG (OK PWP 2027)
Littlebear get after and watching her set the defender up was impressive as she falls into the #sizedontmatter group I talk about a lot because she can play. Good court vision coupled with solid defense yet her FLOATA JUST DID IT for me on this platform
Hannah Williams-5’7 PG ( Houston United Bobby)
Williams is already showing her fierceness as she battled for loose balls and applied pressure on the defensive end. Keep in mind, that she was playing in the high school division, going against some players that will be heading to the next level after this season
Graci Atkinson- 5’7 SG (OK PWP 2027)
Atkinson created her shot under pressure, and played within herself meaning “she takes good shots” and doesn’t force anything yet she also understands how to get hers “in the flow”
Maleeya Stanford-5’10 SG (Lady Jets 13U)
Stanford has good size and she understands how to use it as she rebounded on both ends, and even handled the ball C2C, coast to coast, several times to either score by attacking the basket or showing the pull-up jumper. She also has good timing to block shots and did a good job defending
Deznique King-5’1 PG (Lady Jets 13U)
King has SWB, speed with ball, and to the novice, that means she can go full speed under control, in fact, she’s hard to stay with in the open court. In the set, she has a nice first step to get by defenders and finished after contact
Baylee Bowman Baylee Bowman 5'7" | SG Guyer | 2027 TX -5’7 SG (Lady Jets 13U)
Bowman set the defender up nicely using a deceptive first step to attack the basket, from various angles and finish yet she also showed she could dish off the dribble as well as defend
2028
Juliana Davenport-5’6 SF (OK PWP 2027)
Davenport left me speechless because, yeah, I knew she was good and will be creating problems for years to come yet I didn’t realize she is only heading to the 7th grade. She scores, however, you want it, off the dribble, mid to long-range, even off of putbacks, yeah she rebounds on both ends but she sees the floor and has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots
Isabelle Rodriguez Isabelle Rodriguez 5'7" | PG TX -5’4 PG ( Houston United Bobby)
Rodriguez keeps a smile on my face for a number of reasons which include her mindset. When you have things you just can’t teach, I speak about observing players doing things instinctively as well as how they react at a young age and her battling against the high school players for loose balls was a thrill. So was her CHALLENGING bigs off the dribble, yeah she gets it but she also gives that outside shot. Her BB-IQ is ahead of her years, she’s understanding how to control the tempo already and her court vision …
