Makari Murphy had some excellent performances for the last tournament of her AAU career. On game one against the Lowcountry Premier Ballers she set the tone on offense for Lady Magic putting up a game high 12 points along with a few boards and assists. Her efforts on both ends of the floor made a difference and helped her team pull off a 56-44 victory. Murphy’s consistent scoring was key to Lady Magic ‘s National Championship run.
Emily Gomez- Lady Magic 2023
Emily Gomez is a warrior on the basketball court she’s a hard nosed player who prides herself on defense. Gomez was so impressive at Nationals. Her fierce on ball defense suffocated the ball handlers causing them to get five second calls and even a ten second backcourt call. She played excellent on the defensive end and really provided her team that spark they needed throughout the tournament her efforts helped Lady Magic become Champions of the Silver Bracket.
Akiyah Wade Akiyah Wade 5'6" | CG Bryan Station | 2026 State KY – Lady Magic 2024
Akiyah Wade Akiyah Wade 5'6" | CG Bryan Station | 2026 State KY once again displayed her elite scoring ability. Just like at Run 4 the Roses she put up big numbers on every team that stepped on the court to play Lady Magic 16U. On their first game against the Michigan Lady Playmakers Wade dropped a game high 20 points in a tough fought 55-53 win.
Brooke Campbell Brooke Campbell 5'7" | SG Madison Central | 2025 State KY – Richmond Heat 2025
Brooke Campbell Brooke Campbell 5'7" | SG Madison Central | 2025 State KY has big time potential she is a lethal three point shooter that can catch fire at any moment. Brooke played her best game against Power Basketball out of Houston, TX. She put up 11 points in a blow out win her rebounding efforts along with her defensive prowess was huge for her teams success at Nationals.
Brittany Campbell Brittany Campbell 5'6" | PG Madison Central | 2025 State KY – Richmond Heat 2025
Brittany Campbell Brittany Campbell 5'6" | PG Madison Central | 2025 State KY has big time potential along with her twin sister “Brooke”. She was a key component to Richmond Heat becoming Champions of the Platinum Bracket. In all five games played Brittany made her presence known on the court whether it was scoring, rebounding, or dishing the ball to her teammates for the assist. She also was clutch in the Championship game against Nona Basketball Academy she dropped 10 points. Brittany was one of the team leaders in assist and scoring throughout the tournament.
Abigail Popham Abigail Popham 5'7" | SG LaFayette | 2025 State KY – Richmond Heat 2025
Abigail Popham Abigail Popham 5'7" | SG LaFayette | 2025 State KY has great size and strength for a guard she competes extremely hard on offense and defense. Popham is a team player and she doesn’t mind doing what it takes to win instead of focusing on her own individual stats or performance. She had 7 points against Power Basketball and 5 points in a landslide victory over Be Relentless a team based out of Durham, NC.
Cameryn Ridderikhoff Cameryn Ridderikhoff 5'10" | SF Madison Central | 2025 State KY – Richmond Heat 2025
The Richmond Heat 2025 team is loaded with young talent and none of their players have a selfish mentality. They all work together well and their team chemistry is phenomenal. Cameryn Ridderikhoff Cameryn Ridderikhoff 5'10" | SF Madison Central | 2025 State KY was a vital piece to Richmond Heat ‘s 5-0 Championship run. Ridderikhoff had 11 points in game one against Power Basketball and 12 points in the Championship against Nona Basketball Academy she was also a top assist leader on the team at Nationals. This Richmond Heat program is top notch and they really know how to develop their players.
Kaleigh Potts- Lexington Crossover 2027
Lexington Crossover is a AAU Program that is on the rise they have a roster filled with exciting young players who no doubt will be big time prospects before you know it. Kaleigh Potts is a two sport athlete and she is just as good on the soccer field as she is on the basketball court. Potts has a all-around good game she can shoot it, score at the rim, and rebound very well.
Layla Flynn Layla Flynn 5'7" | PG Dunbar | 2027 State KY – Lexington Crossover 2027
Layla Flynn Layla Flynn 5'7" | PG Dunbar | 2027 State KY has an extremely bright future a head of her the feel she has for the game at such a young age is very impressive. Flynn has had a great summer playing for Lexington Crossover she is a knock down three point shooter and she plays really hard on defense always active in passing lanes this helps her come up with multiple steals per game.
