GYBC All-American brought out some very talented girls as far as from Texas! It was good to see a nice showing of some the younger class in the gym competing at a high level. With two days filled with skills and drills and 5-on-5 play here’s who in my opinion were that leveled-up cream of the crop and the top ten players of the camp!
1. Justice Alexander 5’10 2028 SF North Carolina
Wow! She showed elite ability all day at the camp and has the complete game already and is only in the seventh grade! Can get her shot at any time and score on all three levels on the floor. She is a good three-point shooter. This kid is special has power 5 written all over her!
2. Rylee Canaan 6’0 PF/SF 2027 Indiana
Not a tweener at all, she’s just a young player that can play the wing and the post. Great size with long arms she played under control all day and has maturity with her game. By far the best footwork in the camp can score in the low block at will! Can shoot the three ball as well my guess is she will be a great stretch 4 when she lands at the next level!
3. Camille Nesmith 6’3 C//PF 2026 Maryland
I first saw her this summer then and now athleticism is off the charts! She can smack board with ease and has elite lateral movement for a player her size. Her game is still very raw on the offensive end but with her potential and ability, this kid future is extremely bright!
4. Trinity Wilburn 5’5 PG 2026 Indiana
During workout drills Trinity was the most consistent in every drill and then it translated on to the court at a high level. Elite defensive anticipation to get steals and she has the burst to turn defense to offense in a blink of an eye! One move-and-go type player to get to the bucket that hit the three-point shot!
5. Kennedie Cooper 5’6 CG Georgia
When I see players dominate and consistently execute drills, 90 percent usually translates to games! Kennedie did not disappoint me at all! She simply took over games with her ability! Elite play on both ends of the floor getting steals and scoring! She had a nice crowd-pleaser when she did a crossover that made the defender stumble and then hit a step back three-pointer!
6 Ava Zenner 5’5 PG 2028 Tennessee
The best pure point guard in the event! This kids ball handling skills is at an elite level. Her change of direction through traffic with the ball in her hand is mind-blowing at her age! She plays with great pace and can not be sped up! Her future is bright and there is no doubt she is a division 1 point guard!
7. Euleesha Mitchell 5’9 SG 2027 Tennessee
The best pure shooting guard in the event! She has the ability to get her shot off in multiple ways. Euleesha can take you the rim on a isolation for a lay-up or she can rock you to sleep with a drive to the basket step-back three-pointer. I love her aggressive nature as she is not afraid to take the big shots.
8. Nakhai Worthy 5’11 SF 2027 Georgia
Worthy was probably was best two-way player in the camp! When you see her frame you can see a frame of a division 1 small forward. She is an elite defender that can guard all positions on the floor vocal floor leader that can do it all!
9. Sutton Eldredge 5’9 SG 2027 Virginia
Arguably the best pure shooter of the event. Very crafty, skilled and can light you up from any distance. In 1 on 1 drills, she hit sick one-leg fade-away shots that got everyone’s attention! A vocal player that has good size for a shooting guard at the next level. Only going be an eighth grader next year should be a breakout spring and summer for her!
10. Mia Hairston 5’5 PG 2026 Texas
Not going to wow you with size but if you want someone who knows how to play the game here you go! A point guard but she played the two-guard role and displayed a very high IQ. She read the defense well got numerous back door cuts for layups. Arguably the highest IQ in the gym and probably average the most points per game played. I took notice and a lot of the evaluators did too this kid is a plug-and-play player for any head coach!
