A lot of high school basketball players in Michigan deserve to celebrate the work that they out into the game. This Labor Day Day, we will look at some of the hardest working players in the state.
Petroelje is a hard nosed player to the core. Game time or when the bright lights are off, you can count on 110% from her. With the physical game that Petroelje can play, she has to put in hard work to prepare.
You just don’t have the type of junior season that Kincaid had without putting in the work prior. It helps that she’s extremely coachable as well. Kincaid maximizes every minute she has in the gym, learning and growing as a player.
This is a player that I’ve come to respect a ton. Her hard work includes all aspects of improving as an athlete. Tringali is obviously willing to grind in the gym, which is what has turned her into an excellent ball handler and top notch shooter. She also focuses on her health and nutrition, which allows her to play at an optimal level.
I’ve really liked Zorski’s approach to the game since the PGH Top 250 a couple years ago. She was injured but showed up anyways to support friends and teammates and be a part of the environment. That right there is work and dedication. Zorski shows the same grind on the court cutting hard and battling for position under the rim.
From an outside perspective, it seems like Bush as taken her work to a different level over the last year or so. And it appears to be serving her well. I’ve heard whispers of Bush being in the gym a ton and that work paying dividends with her ball handling and shooting.
