Whitley has legit size and uses it well. She blocked multiple shots and rebounded the ball well. She has a good shooting touch around the rim and has a nice face up game out to the foul line. She fights hard for position in the post area and is strong enough to hold it once she gets it.
Highlights
Mina had a good day in her first league action. She is a tough defender and doesn’t back down from physical play. Good ball handler and she knocked down three triples on her way to 12 points.

Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka
Ivanna was very impressive in week 1. She has an advanced skill set for an 8th grader and had no problem competing with older players. She led the team with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Layla Burton
Layla Burton
Layla had an awesome week one with 10 points and 4 assists. She is a super quick guard with excellent ball handling skills and a killer first step. She finishes well in the paint with both hands,and can apply full court pressure on defense. Very high motor and intensity from the opening tip to the buzzer.
Kylie Savage
Kylie Savage
Kylie is a physical guard with good upper body strength that allows her finish through contact. She battles in the paint for rebounds and loose balls and is very active defensively. She finished with a game high 16 points in week one.
