The class of 2023 has entered their Senior season and as the begin their final year of high school, we release an updated class of 2023 rankings. Check out the NEW Top 10!
Rank: 1
Chloe Kitts Chloe Kitts 6'2" | SF Faith Christian Academy | 2022 FL (Faith Christian / Southeast All Stars) 6’2 Wing
Kitts has continued to be one of the country’s biggest stock risers showcasing her ability to be a big guard with excellent length, a huge wing span, and a high level of skin. Kitts suited up for the newly formed Southeast All Stars out of Georgia all summer and narrowed her college list down to a top 6 – Duke, Louisville, NC State, South Carolina, Arizona and Oklahoma. She is a high-level prospect with a ton of potential and a perfect fit for a program that can utilize her skill set and play her at multiple positions.
Rank: 2
Emma Risch Emma Risch 6'2" | PG Palm Bay | 2023 State #23 Nation FL (Palm Bay / East Coast United) 6’2 Guard – NOTRE DAME
Risch is a big point guard who is a playmaker with deep 3-point range. She committed to Notre Dame early last year and was a huge part of East Coast United successful summer. Her unique combination of height, skill, and high percentage shooting ability makes her a high-level prospect that projects to be a high level BCS player at the college level.
Rank: 3
Taliah Scott Taliah Scott 5'8" | SG St. John's Country Day | 2023 State #31 Nation FL (St. Johns County Day / FGB) 5’8 Guard – ARKANSAS
Scott drops bucket!!! She can take you off the dribble, she can knock it down from 3, and she can get into the paint and pull up from the mid-range game off the dribble. An early verbal commit to the University of Arkansas, Scott projects to be an impact player at the SEC level. Her step back is deadly and her athleticism is elite!
Rank: 4
Olivia McGhee Olivia McGhee 6'2" | CG IMG Academy | 2023 State FL (IMG Academy / Team Durant) 6’2 Guard – VIRGINIA
McGhee enters the class of 2023 rankings at # 4 after transferring from Virginia to IMG Academy. McGhee is a 6’2 versatile guard with a scorer’s mentality and looks to score every time she touches the ball! She is a high percentage shooter who can knock down the open 3, pull up from mid-range and attack off the bounce and score at the rim! She is an excellent rebounder from the guard position and has big time potential due to her excellent size at the perimeter position.
Rank: 5
Sarah Rambus Sarah Rambus 6'4" | PF IMG ACADEMY | 2023 State FL (IMG Academy / MI Crossover) 6’4 Forward – OREGON
Rambus is a terrific talent who enters the rankings at # 2 after transferring to IMG Academy from Michigan. Rambus is long and athletic and extremely versatile. She protects the rim like an interior post player but runs the floor like a perimeter player. In the paint, she is a high percentage finisher who when she has it going is nearly unstoppable! She has solid footwork, has a smooth and effortless presence on the court and is verbally committed to Oregon.
Rank: 6
Alancia Ramsey Alancia Ramsey 6'0" | PF St Thomas Aquinas | 2023 State FL (St Thomas Aquinas / Essence) 6’0 Forward
Ramsey has been one of my favorite players to watch the last 3 years as she plays tough, aggressive, and extremely physical! At 6’0, she is an undersized interior post player who has ability to dominate the paint, be an impactful offensive and defensive rebounder, and finishes well at the rim vs contact. She plays with a high level of energy, passion and is extremely competitive. She does a good job staying active and runs the floor hard and uses her athleticism and high activity level to defender players on the low block 2+ inches bigger than her!
Rank: 7
Khyala Ngodu Khyala Ngodu 6'2" | PF Dillard | 2023 State FL (Dillard / Miami Suns) 6’2 Forward
Ngodu burst onto the exposure scene with the Miami Suns this spring stocking up 30+ D1 offers due to being one of the top interior players on the exposure circuit. At 6’2, she can play the 4 and the 5, has good hands, finishes the ball well in the paint and can stretch it out to 15 feet. She is an impactful rebounder and shot blocker in the paint and can finish with both hands.
Rank: 8
Mjaracle Sheppard (Montverde Academy / Essence) 5’8 Guard
Sheppard has been a steady presence for Montverde Academy and Essence each of the last two years as a combo guard, showcasing her ability to play both the PG and SG position. She has crafty handle, takes care of the ball playing with a high assist to turnover ratio, and selectively finds her way to create her own shot and put the ball in the basket.
Rank: 9
D’Yanis Jimenez D’Yanis Jimenez 5'9" | PG Charlotte | 2023 State FL (Charlotte / Miami Suns) 5’9 Guard – WISCONSIN
Jimenez had a solid summer for the Miami Suns after a standout Junior year for Charlotte. She is an athletic, aggressive scoring point guard with savvy ball skills, 3-point range, and scores at the rim! She picked up a ton of interest this summer and verbally committed to Wisconsin in August.
Rank: 10
Karina Gordon Karina Gordon 5'8" | CG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2023 State FL (St Thomas Aquinas / Miami Suns) 5’8 Guard
Gordon was impressive this summer for the Miami Suns including a huge 9 3-pointer game at the end of July. She can play multiple perimeter positions, knock it down from 3, handle the rock and is an excellent on ball defender. She rounds out the top 10 for the class of 2023 and is expected to have a huge season for St. Thomas Aquinas in their efforts to win back to back state championships.
