When discussing the 2023 class, every scout in our group chat mentioned Ma’kiya as one of the players most deserving of a move up. West has shined in camp and AAU settings after a good showing in her Junior high school season. She is likely to see a boost in her individual stats this season at Male as well. She’s had a few schools offer already and should have more coming her way soon.
Highlights
One of the biggest risers in the update, Deziree was a standout at our PGH Top 250 this fall and has established herself as a top player again now that she’s fully healthy. North Hardin has a very talented roster and Bryant should be one of the top players in the entire 5th region this season. She’s definitely a scholarship level player in college.
Highlights
Meade has as much long term potential as any girl in the class thanks to her elite size and ability to move well at 6’4. Jhaven compares favorably to 2022 Bullitt East standout Gracie Merkle on the court with her ability to block shots and rebound at a high level. On the offensive end, Meade is a tough cover and has evolved her skill set to be a true scoring threat off either block.
Kayla took the summer off from AAU to work on her game and upgrade her overall skill level and it paid off well for her thus far. Grant still plays the game super hard and with a bit of a mean streak but she has shown much better finishing ability than in the past and a greatly improved handle. Look for Kayla to be an impact performer in the 4th region in her Senior season and a likely double double each night out.
