Taylor Jacobson Taylor Jacobson 5'9" | CG Monroe | 2023 State WI
The Monroe native may not be on one of the prestigious high school programs in the state, but she’s managed to make herself one of the most intriguing wings in Wisconsin. She had a great summer playing with Let it Rain and showed off her athletic ability defending scholarship-level talent all over the midwest. Offensively, she’s gotten better all summer. She can score at all three levels and showed that she has a lot of tricks up her sleeve to put the ball in the basket consistently for an entire game.
Kierstin Kriewaldt Kierstin Kriewaldt 6'0" | SG Freedom | 2023 State WI
Even before kids started committing, not many kids had the size, skill, and athleticism as Kriewaldt. The Freedom wing can play anywhere from two to five at the high school level and two to four at the college level. Her versatility will get her on the floor early wherever she goes to play at the next level. It also doesn’t hurt that she’s a legitimate 6-foot wing who scores, attacks off the dribble, and defends multiple positions. Kriewaldt has made some outstanding plays and is one of the better athletes at her size in Wisconsin.
Kailey Wozniak Kailey Wozniak 5'9" | CG Pius Xi Catholic | 2023 State WI
I haven’t met a more naturally competitive person in life than Kailey Wozniak Kailey Wozniak 5'9" | CG Pius Xi Catholic | 2023 State WI . She doesn’t just want to win games. She wants to win possessions. With her competitiveness, Wozniak defends scholarship-level wings and can physically handle the college game right now. The only thing that you can nitpick is her shooting. The 5-foot-9 wing shot below 30% over the first chunk of the season in the last 10-12 games. However, Wozniak shot over 40% from the 3-point line. I think she’s one of the most well-rounded players left on the board.
Brianna McCurdy Brianna McCurdy 5'8" | PG St. Croix Falls | 2023 State WI
The St. Croix Falls native doesn’t get the recognition she deserves because of where she’s from, but she is one of the most skilled point guards left. McCurdy torched Altoona in a sectional final last season to send her Saints team to their first state tournament appearance in program history and could lead them there again this season. McCurdy can make things happen and swing momentum into her team’s favor as well as anyone, and any school that gets her will love and trust her with the ball.
