Continue ReadingRuff is a great athlete with strong legs that help her drive to the basket and explode vertically. Madison plays with an aggressive mindset. She looks to get downhill and uses a tight handle to do so. Ruff is a really good rebounder for her size.
Highlights
The lefty is a lethal floor spacer. Healy makes defenses pay if they are slow to close out on her three-point shot. Alexis is a sneaky good rebounder. She has added some strength to her frame.
Kitali is a true point guard that sees the floor. She loves making one-handed passes off the bounce. Her rebounding impressed me as she could start her own fastbreaks. Youmans shot the ball well from beyond the arc.

Moving from Wilson Academy to KIPP Atlanta, Jaquoia Jones will make an immediate impact and become the best player on the roster and one of the better players in Region 6-AA. Jones is a powerful driver that rebounds well and thrives in transition. She scores exceptionally well through contact and has a high release on her jumper. Jones will overpower most guards not with just her strength but her mindset as well.
Even though she was one of the smaller guards at camp, Fears used her low center of gravity and creativity with the ball to find buckets. The compact playmaker has the ball on a string when probing defenses. She will breakoff combo-dribbles to free herself for deep threes. Paige is a scrappy defender that will mix it up. I expect a breakout sophomore season.
