Walker has all the intangibles to be one of the best post players in the state. She showed why its tough to guard her on the block. A player that knows how to post strong and use her body to score through contact. Runs the floor hard in transition and knows how to find position in the paint to score at the rim. Has a soft touch and can rebound with the best of them. She can also step out for the short jumper. The more I watch her the better she gets each game. A player that will be key for Baldwin High School to compete for a state championship.
Kassidy Neal Kassidy Neal 6’0″ | SF Baldwin | 2025 State GA played exceptional on Saturday and had a great showing in all 3 games. Strong post that can score at will in the paint. Soft touch around the rim and knows how to pin her opponent deep to always be in scoring position. Likes to bury her opponents on her back so she is able to drop step and score. Always rebounds the ball at the highest point which creates extra possessions. A player that is mobile and gets up and down the floor well in transition.
Jazlyn Ware
Jazlyn Ware
Ware plays so hard on both ends of the floor and never gives up on the play. Has the ability to play inside/out. She is the energizer bunny for her team. A player that goes after the offensive and defensive rebounds. As the games went along, she found her groove grabbing multiple rebounds and finishing at the rim. A player that is a special young talent that is growing into her game.
Pirkle is a workhorse on the boards. Probably one of the best rebounders I had seen on the day. High IQ post player that has the ability to change the game. Knows how to pass out of the double team and also score on the block. Understands being in the right position on offense and defense. Her size creates matchup problems on the block and on the wing.
Highlights
Osho is a game changer that can do it all. She showed her ability to post on the block and also step outside for the triple. A player that has the ability to play and guard all 5 positions. Handles the basketball well for height and knows how to use the mismatch to her advantage. When her team was in a close match-up she delivered with some big-time baskets down the stretch. Look for her to be in talks for Region Player of the Year.
Highlights
Kelley is a player that can score a silent 20 points at ease. Once she gets going, she is tough to stop. I watched her score 10 straight points and grab 5 consecutive rebounds in 1 game. A player that works hard in the paint and will rebound with the best of them. She is tweener that can play anywhere she is needed on the court. Knows how to score through contact and has the ability to get to the rim at will.
Jada Young Jada Young 5’11” | PF Long County | 2023 State GA had an amazing showing on Saturday. She was able to post up and score at the rim. She also showed her ability to catch it at the high post and get to the rim. A tweener that can play on the wing or inside the paint. Has different post moves in her bag which she put on display. Her signature move was her up and under step through layup which left a few defenders standing still. A player that should be in the running for Region Player of the Year this season.
