The PGH Top 250 Expo in Illinois was another terrific event with players of all levels showcasing their talent in front of coaches, scouts, and various other spectators. We were very excited to watch and evaluate dozens of players that we have seen over the years, but also many newcomers that we look forward to seeing again in the future. Here is a group of talented players that emerged as GameChangers on the perimeter:
Johnson is a dynamic Combo Guard who can play any of the Guard positions with her skill set. She is a reliable and confident ball-handler who uses her strength to beat defenders one-on-one and finish at the hoop. Brooklynn showed off her great court vision throughout the event, consistently making great passes to set her teammates up for easy buckets.
Highlights
An electric Combo Guard who provides a ton of energy at both ends of the court, Angel can do it all on the offensive end with her shooting and finishing ability at the basket. Lajaya is an extremely talented scorer who understands matchups and how to use her skills against different opponents to find success.
Petalber is a do-it-all Point Guard who can run the show with the ball in her hand and put up points in a hurry when she’s in attack mode. Alayna shoots the ball very well from beyond the three-point line and drives the lane hard where she uses her creativity to finish at the rim.
A strong Shooting Guard who uses her strength and physicality when attacking the lane, McLaren is tough for most high school players to match up with. Tatianna shoots the ball well from beyond the three-point line but is at her best when driving from the wing and scoring at the basket efficiently with either hand.
Lukic is a lengthy and athletic Shooting Guard who can score from anywhere on the court with her skill set. Jacqueline is a high IQ player who moves well without the ball to find openings in the defense so that her teammates can find her for easy baskets.
Cwinski is a tough Shooting Guard who does a little bit of everything on the offensive end with her wide range of skills. Riley is a reliable ball-handler and passer who thrives in the lane with her strong and creative finishes at the hoop.
A very intelligent Shooting Guard who impacts the game immensely at both ends of the floor, Cartee’s skillset and athletic ability give her such a high ceiling as a prospect. Avery shoots the ball well from beyond the three-point line and regularly takes defenders off the dribble on the perimeter and uses her length to score above defenders in the lane.
Highlights
Kiper is an athletic Shooting Guard who impressed with her ability to score from the wing and guard multiple positions on the defensive end of the court. Madelyn uses her length and smooth shooting form to knock down shots over defenders and plays active defense on both the perimeter and in the lane.
Highlights
A well-rounded athlete who can play any of the Guard positions with her ball-handling and scoring abilities, Blagojevich showed the ability to put up points in a hurry throughout the event. Ava is a great shooter from beyond the three-point line and in the mid-range with tremendous confidence in her skills.
