Wilmore has a good nose for the ball to make a pay at any time. Kayla showed a nice mid-range game when she wasn’t hitting a 3-ball from deep.
She has the ability to score the ball from 3 levels on the floor. Wilmore was active in the passing lanes while picking up a few steals today.
Yarborough will be a nice addition to the Lady Vikings roster this season after transferring in from nearby Fairfield Central HS. Zanariah really likes to battle inside the paint and play physical.
She will knock defenders around and rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Zanariah understands how to play down in the post and using her body to gain advantages down low. Watch out for the Lady Vikings this season.
Middleton was able to step up her game some today on the defensive end of the floor. Lauren played active in the passing lanes while picking up some steals the other way in transition.
Middleton plays at a small Class 1A school down in Berkeley County and a bit off the grid at times.
Madison is a true post player for the Lady Wave down inside the paint. She has no problems playing the game on contact and carving out space down low. Thomas has a soft touch and really embraces being a true post player.
Thomas could really have a breakout season for the Lady Wave after playing on the summer circuit with Team Curry 15U GUAA last year.
Molly really plays bigger than her size on the floor. She has no problem rebounding the ball on both ends and especially out of her area. Her MOTOR is constantly in motion, and she never takes a play off.
Molly was able to seal on rebounds and she does a good job of defending on the ball. She was able to finish with her left-hand through contact on the way to the cup.
Emma has a great set of hands and catches anything thrown in her direction on the floor. She’s constantly working for position and staying active on the floor.
Emma transferred into Summerville HS this summer from the Hoosier State. She has a great skill set and understanding of the game. Emma and her sister Molly will be great additions to an already talented Lady Wave squad this season for Head Coach Calvin Davis.
