The event usually caters to unsigned seniors and juniors, but a handful of 2026 and 2025 players received invitations and took advantage. I wanted to take time to acknowledge the work they put in.

Nyjae has been turning heads in the fall league and she continued to do so in this showcase. She is a very quick and athletic guard with a knack for getting into the lane and finishing in a variety of ways. She doesn’t need much space to get her shots off and she has the ability to wait until the last second to release the shot to prevent blocks. She has a strong handle and can shoot from midrange and long distance.

Jaden is a pass first point guard with a solid frame and a good set of fundamentals. She is an exceptional athlete and plays at a controlled pace but has a second gear that she can get to quickly. Defensively she held her own, sliding her feet well and disrupting plays. I think she is set up to have a great season in Howard County.
Dahni had a really strong performance, showing off her versatility and assertiveness from the opening tip. She has a solid skill set of ball handling and shooting and is not afraid to put them to use. She has the upper body strength to punish defenders in the paint and the handle to take players off the dribble. She crashed the boards effectively, especially on offense and blocked several shots. She is going to step into a major role right away for St. Frances.
Monet is an aggressive scoring guard who looked right at home against the older players on the court. She can switch off between point and shooting guard seamlessly because she has the skills and confidence for both. She is a big guard and can handle ball pressure and physical play. She should be able to get some minutes in the rotation this season at St. Frances.

Kiersten acquitted herself quite well against some tough competition. She has a scorer’s mentality, so she worked hard to get open by moving without the ball and using screens from her teammates. She has a good handle and is scrappy on defense. She is a threat from long range but will attack the rim as well.
