Continue Reading3) 6’0 SG Mia Davis Mia Davis 6'0" | SG Dream City Christian | 2023 State #12 Nation AZ (Dream City Christian/SDSU Commit): Davis has climbed to number 3 in our prep hoops ranking after committing to San Diego State women’s basketball program. Davis is a lights out shooter from the perimeter and can put up numbers in a hurry. Dream City Christian is a loaded team this year and Davis will be one of the main stars on the team. Look for Davis to have a huge senior season in preparation of a successful college basketball career at SDSU.
5) 6’5 C Achol Magot Achol Magot 6'5" | C Southern Arizona Prep | 2023 State AZ (AZ Southern Prep/Texas Tech Commit): Magot has continuously climbed up the ladder of the best players in the state of Arizona. Magot has untapped potential at 6’5. Texas Tech is getting a prospect with a ton of untapped potential. Magot will easily average a double-double this season and continue to improve. Magot is an outstanding rim protector that rebounds the ball exceptionally well. Offensively, Magot is continuously improving and if she is able to master her footwork in the post; she will really become unstoppable.
9) 5’9 CG Madelynn Muniz Madelynn Muniz 5'9" | CG Boulder Creek | 2023 State AZ (Boulder Creek/Idaho Commit): Muniz has climbed to the number 9 spot in the newest rankings after committing to the University of Idaho. Muniz is a lights-out lefty shooter and played on one of the best grassroots teams in the country with Jason Kidd select. I anticipate Muniz to put up some monster numbers this year for the Boulder Creek Lady Jags.
10) 6’0 F/W Kaitlyn Beall Kaitlyn Beall 6'0" | PF Dream City Christian School | 2023 State AZ (Dream City Christian/UCSM Commit): Beall flew up the rankings from number 52 to number 10. Beall has the versatility of playing both on the wing and in the post. She can shoot it from 3 as well as score on small defenders in the post. Beall is another prospect that has so much potential and playing on Dream City’s national team will only unlock more of it. Division-2 University of California San Marcos is getting a really really good one in Beall.
12) 5’10 W Amaya Washington Amaya Washington 5'10" | SF Dream City Christian Prep | 2023 State AZ (Dream City Christian/Uncommitted): Washington moved up to number 12 on the rankings list. Washington is one of the best athletes in her class and has gained college attention from numerous schools across the country. Washington can defend at a very high-level and her wingspan allows her to guard any position on the court. Offensively, Washington still has a ton of untapped potential as she has great speed, size and strength. Washington will continue to improve and whatever college program she decides to go to is getting one of the best athletes in the state of Arizona.
13) 6’3 C Kiley Sours Miller Kiley Sours Miller 6'3" | C Dream City Christian | 2023 State AZ (Dream City Christian/Uncommitted): Sours-Miller is one of the best post prospects in the state of Arizona. She has great size, strength and she is deceptively quick. Miller can flat out score the ball when she gets it in the post. She has treamondous footwork and will continue to grab attention from college coaches around the nation this year playing on a national schedule. Wherever Sours-Miller decides to play, the program is getting an A+ post prospect.
14) 6’1 F Molly Garnand Molly Garnand 6'1" | PF Pusch Ridge Christian Academy | 2023 State AZ (Pusch Ridge Christian/Uncommitted): Recently offered by NAU, Molly Garnand Molly Garnand 6'1" | PF Pusch Ridge Christian Academy | 2023 State AZ is continuing to grab attention from division 1 coaches across the country. Garnand is one of those “unicorn” post players that can handle the ball, shoot it from 3 and score in the paint. Garnand played AAU ball with a really good Tucson Rattler team. Garnand is capable of being an immediate impact player at the next level if she continues to get stronger.
15) 5’7 G Steffy Cervantes Steffy Cervantes 5'7" | SG St. John Paul II | 2023 State AZ (St John Paull II/ Uncommitted): Cervantes is one of the best scorers in the state of Arizona. She is a 3-level scorer that is capable of putting her team on her back if need be. Cervantes is very quick and a really good shooter from the perimeter. Cervantes is capable of being one of the leading scorers in the state again during her senior year.
21) 6’1 C Rori Hoffmeyer Rori Hoffmeyer 6'1" | C Cibola | 2023 State AZ (Cibola/Uncommitted): Hoffmeyer is one of the best post prospects in the state of Arizona. She is really quick for a post prospect and is maybe the fastest rim-runner in the state. She plays exceptionally well without the ball in her hands as she is either fighting for position in the post or setting high ball screens for her teammates. Defensively, Hoffmeyer walls-up to perfection and rebounds very well. Hoffmeyer is a prime prospect for the division-3 or NAIA level in college.
23) 5’5 G Nara Kaibara Nara Kaibara 5'5" | SG Phoenix Country Day | 2023 State AZ (Phoenix Country Day/Uncommitted): Kaibara is a really good guard in the class of 2023. She sees the court exceptionally well and can really shoot it from 3. Kaibara is an exceptional floor general and would be a really good fit at any D3, Naia or Juco program.
49) 6’4 C Lauren Crocker Lauren Crocker 6'4" | C Perry | 2023 State AZ (Perry/Uncommitted): Crocker is a top post prospect at 6’4. She can rebound exceptionally well, wall-up in the post, as well as score on the block. Crocker is on a very good Perry High School team that is capable at making a run at a state title this year. Look for Crocker to play a big role in the success of the Pumas season.
52) 5’4 PG Jayla Cal Jayla Cal 5'4" | PG Perry | 2023 State AZ (Perry/Uncommitted): Cal is a lightening-quick guard in the class of 2023. She plays on a very talented Perry Pumas team that features the best player in the state in Khamil Pierre Khamil Pierre 6'2" | PF Perry | 2023 State AZ . Look for Cal to play the floor general role on her very talented team this season.
53) 5’9 SG Caylie Holyfield Caylie Holyfield 5'9" | SG Cibola | 2023 State AZ (Cibola/Uncommitted): Holyfield is an exceptional athlete on a very tough Cibola squad. Holyfield can shoot it from 3 as well as blow by her defenders for easy buckets in the paint. Holyfield can also defend at a very high level, often guarding the opposing teams best players. Look for Holyfield to play a huge role in the success of a very talented Cibola team.
60) 5’9 CG Gabriella Lopez Gabriella Lopez 5'9" | CG Bisbee | 2023 State AZ (Bisbee/Uncommitted): Lopez can score the ball in bunches. Last season she averaged 20 points a game. Lopez will once again be the best player on her team this upcoming season. Lopez is poised for a season averaging north of 20 points a game during her final season.
61) 5’8 CG Karolina Padilla Karolina Padilla 5'8" | CG Douglas | 2023 State AZ (Douglas/Uncommitted): Padilla averaged 19.9 points a game during her junior season. Padilla can score in bunches. She can shoot it from 3, score in transition and knock down shots from the free throw line. Look for Padilla to put up some monster numbers during her senior year.
65) AJ Bonapart AJ Bonapart 5'6" | CG Sahuaro | 2023 State AZ (Sahuaro/Uncommitted): Bonapart is one of the top 15 junior scorers in the state last season. She can shoot it from 3 as well as zoom past defenders for easy buckets. Look for Bonapart to have another big season for Sauhuaro.
