Myra Claas Myra Claas 5'6" | CG Tipton | 2023 State MO (Tipton): The talented point guard opened up the game with a long 3-pointer and she was off and running from there. She played with excellent pace and she was able to drop some very nice dimes while on the move. She can also create offense off the dribble with a number of escape moves, including a nifty spin dribble.
Faith Coates (Rolla): A 5’7″ guard who was active on defense with deflections and steals on the top of her team’s full court press. She had some solid takes to the basket off the dribble and she also hit the open 3-pointer.
Briar Cox Briar Cox 5'11" | C Tipton | 2023 State MO (Tipton): A 6’0″ forward who was very solid inside with her ability to score and rebound. She plays a very effective positional game with her ability to seal defenders and score on fundamental moves around the basket. I also liked that she looked to block out somebody every time the shot went up.
Livi Herron (St. James): A 5’6″ point guard who displayed good speed and quickness at both ends of the court. She was a ball hawk on defense who was able to pick a few pockets. She could thread the needle on offense with her good court vision and hit the open 3-pointer.
Abbie Sullins Abbie Sullins 5'11" | SF Licking | 2023 State MO (Licking): A 5’11” southpaw wing player who can score in the low post and be an excellent playmaker with her ball handling and passing skills. She could get a rebound and go coast to coast by weaving through the opposing defense for a layup. She is an unselfish player who could find the open teammate with her passes that had a lot of zip on them.
Rylee Hancock (St. James): A 5’9″ forward who knows how to maneuver inside to get buckets and draw fouls to get herself to the free throw line. She was also very active on defense at the top of the press where she was able to get deflections. She also ran the court in transition very well.
Haven Haymes (Ozark): A 6’0″ forward who was very strong in the post at both ends of the court. She was active on defense as she was able to block and challenge shots. On offense, she establishes her post position well and will finish with a nice drop step. She is also a very good screener which frees up her teammates for open opportunities.
