Impressed with this rising sophomore as Blake was a player who shined in a tough loss for the Indians. Herdman is a player who showed me a good midrange game, able to use it within their offense. She has good footwork and solid handles, being able to run the floor in transition. Can step out behind the arc and she showed me good work ethic.
I have seen her in the summer with the Dayton Metro, and she impressed me probably the most she ever has last week. Really a dominant offensive player with handles and deep shooting range behind the arc. Payton (feature photo above) can push the tempo and can just score quickly. Her midrange is solid and she showed a high basketball IQ the way she plays the game.
I got to see them in a great matchup against Laural and despite the pressure and tempo that Laurel brought to the game, Ashley was poised and in control. She possesses good handles and has a nice step to the rim. Very good mechanics of the game, and finds her teammates with good court vision with a good basketball IQ. She is a clutch player.
Lived up to all advertised as the top 2026 in Ohio. Hall is a primetime player, a rim protector with her length and showed ability to block or alter shots in the paint. She is at a whole different level for her age, has amazing handles for her size and runs the show. Can’t wait to watch her growth over the next four years.
So I finally got to sit and see her in action last week, and the sophomore showed me a lot of poise and skill at her point guard spot. Scoring points draw attention, Zedeker does what a point guard is supposed to do. Outstanding passer, excellent speed and body control, can push tempo and distributes well with her court vision. Active on defense with quick hands. Very underrated player by most people…but not by us!
