Prep Girls Hoops Season Predictions:
Westside HS (Anderson) – The Lady Rams have won 38 straight games and the past 2 Class 4A State Championships. Look for the Lady Rams to add some firepower from the younger grades this season.

Young signed last week with the Ole Miss Lady Rebels in the SEC. J’adore has been a staple in the paint for the Lady Red Raiders over the past 4 seasons. J’adore averaged 18.5 ppg, 13.9 rebounds and 6.7 blocks last season. She patrols the paint with her ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end. She can step-out to the short corner or the elbow to knockdown shots.
Young is the Prep Girls Hoops Preseason Region Player of the Year this season.
Wardlaw is back for senior leadership this coming season for the Lady Eagles. Erianna brings good quickness to the floor from end to end. She looks to excel in the transition game and keeping the ball low to the floor. Wardlaw will need some help from Ty Johnson this season on the Lady Eagles roster to make some noise.
Horn plays the game down in the post with a very good understanding. Reagan keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass and can finish with both hands around the cup. Reagan at times feels comfortable shooting the ball from downtown as a face-up post. She averaged 7.3 ppg last season – and look for those numbers to climb this season.
Scott will be here for the Lady Rams to carry the bulk of the scoring production come this season. Ahri has been part of the last 2 state championship teams for the Lady Rams. Scott can knockdown perimeter jumpers and play active in the passing lanes. She averaged 10.8 ppg last season for the Lady Rams. Look for her to have a breakout season this year.
Highlights
Medlin really stuffed the stat sheet last season for the Lady Red Raiders. Kylee averaged 8.6 ppg, 6.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3 steals last season. Medlin brings good versatility to the floor and does a great job of rebounding the ball from her position. Will the Lady Red Raiders improve on a tough (9-14) season from a year ago?
Owens is just a freshman for the Lady Blue Flame. Ava has been making contributions on the volleyball court and the basketball court for Pickens HS the past few years. Ava plays the game at a good pace and understanding from out top. Ava is surely one of the better players in the 2026 Palmetto State. She averaged 13.5 ppg, 7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists last season as an 8th grader for the Lady Blue Flame.
