Continue ReadingA key role player returning from Stevenson’s State Championship team last season, Musunuri has shown to be an effective two-way Combo Guard with good energy and a well-rounded skill set. She is a reliable ball-handler who runs the offense and makes good decisions in transition while also knocking down shots from the perimeter on a consistent basis. Nisha is a very intelligent player who gives non-stop effort on the defensive end with her on-ball defense and talent for stepping into passing lanes and creating turnovers.
One of the better all-around athletes in the Class of 2025, Furlong’s speed and length help her control the game at both ends of the floor. She can defend a variety of players, often the opposing teams best, and regularly uses her instincts to turn takeaways into easy fast break points. Gracie shoots the ball well from beyond the three-point line and excels at using her quickness to attack from the perimeter and score in the lane.
Highlights
A versatile Shooting Guard who plays and defends multiple positions effectively with her length and athleticism, Urlacher has the chance to be a key role player for a very talented Fremd team this season. She uses her length to bother players in the post and is a constant threat to block or alter shots, while also causing issues for guards on the perimeter with her quickness and agility. Coco is active on the boards at both ends of the court and constantly runs the floor in transition for easy layup opportunities.
Campanelli is an athletic Shooting Guard who impacts the game at both ends of the court with her scoring ability and constant effort. She is an outstanding shooter from anywhere and understands how to move without the ball so her teammates can find her for open looks. Anna uses her length and basketball IQ to defend multiple positions effectively and is always a threat to block an opponents shot or take the ball away and start the fast break.
An active Small Forward who creates matchup problems for opposing teams, Cooper controls the paint with her skill and athleticism. She moves well in the lane to win position on the block and uses her strength and long arms to finish high near the basket through contact. Avery also has success on the perimeter with a consistent jump shot and her ability to beat defenders off the dribble to get in the lane and make plays.
