Many times these much needed players go unnoticed even though you can’t do without them. Her are a few off the players that flew under the radar during the Super Scrimmage.
Marley is long standing around 6’0″. She has a good shot with range out to the three and a good pull up jumper in the mid range. She is very athletic and would be a household name if it weren’t for the fact she’s playing with all-Americans.
Emma was one of the best shooters in the gym and when defenses realized it the stayed glued to her and closed out quicker. This opened up her lane to drive which she does well keeping her eyes up for cutters and finishing.
Although she is a perimeter player, Paris was doing damage inside. She was physical in the paint and finished plays after contact. She is a good rebounder that can get to the line repeatedly.
Joi showed great defense getting multiple fast break layups from timing the passing lanes. She has a nice looking shot and handles the ball really well. She has good size for a college combo and her game fits a variety of programs.
To call Makaela under the radar should be blasphemy. Anyone that has been paying attention knows who she is. The thing is that she makes an impact without being overly flashy. She stands out with her effort as she is everywhere on the court. She has a good looking shot, gets out in transition and has good control with the ball in her hands.
