The GRC campus is beautiful, and I always love going to the west side of the state. Not only is Grand Rapids home to some of the best basketball in the state, it is also home to my favorite soup shop: Uncle Cheetah’s. I was favored with sunshine, soup, and great hoops. The following kids are dangers to singlehandedly put a running clock on you.
The returning All State selection is a beast in the post. She gobbles up rebounds and throws pinpoint outlet passes to start the break. She holds the ball high on her moves and uses her body to create space well. She converts at a high rate on her post moves.

Hayleigh has been known more as a defender her first two years at Northpointe, but she showcased the ability to hit shots Wednesday. She buried multiple three pointers and attacked closeouts with strong drives. She has a knack for avoiding contact to find her holes.
The elder Wypych could give a master’s class on shielding the ball on layups. She is a lengthy kid that has speed to beat posts yet possesses really nice footwork around the blocks- matchup nightmare. She has a fluid stroke on her deep shots that suggest that she could light it up from deep. Alyssa is a kid that you hate to have to game plan against.
Despite being a mite undersized, Maddy goes under bigger players, thereby mitigating the opponent’s strength. She handles pressure with ease and sets up the defense to get her teammates easy buckets. She uses her passing ability to open up drives. Maddy is even dangerous on the offensive boards for put backs.

Ariel is a strong bodied guard that powers through contact. The lefty has a nice stroke and is dangerous with her pullup jumper. She is difficult to keep out of the paint.
