Grant McGinnis is a former sportswriter, columnist and broadcaster whose coverage included NHL hockey, the Olympic Games and Division 1 college basketball. He has been an avid observer of girls and womens basketball in Minnesota for the past decade and is in his 5th year with Prep Girls Hoops. Rudy Ruffin brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience to Prep Girls Hoops. She has coached and mentored girls in youth basketball for the past seven years, including travel ball, AAU and high school. That experience, combined with having coached at more than 50 camps in Minnesota, gives her a broad scope of knowledge on the state’s flourishing talent pool. Rudy is a 2010 graduate of Wayzata High School where she was a captain in both basketball and track, helping the Trojans to their first ever state tournament. She also ran track at Minnesota State University-Mankato and played basketball at Bethany Lutheran College.
Tony Ragulen has been around the game of basketball on both the boys’ and girls’ side for 20+ years, with a dedicated presence in girls basketball in the Twin Cities for the last 10 years. His coaching experience includes travel ball, AAU and high school, and he has extensive knowledge of up-and-coming players in Minnesota.
